McPherson Center for Health’s Registered Dietitian is here to guide you in making healthy lifestyle and nutrition choices.

Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) uses personalized nutrition plans to treat chronic conditions like diabetes and kidney disease, improving health outcomes and reducing costs. Our Registered Dietitian will guide you in making informed nutrition choices, aiming to make food a source of joy despite dietary restrictions. Nutrition counseling is available for a variety of conditions, including but not limited to: 

  • Diabetes
  • Weight Management
  • High Blood Pressure
  • High cholesterol 
  • Cancer
  • Chronic kidney disease 
  • GI issues 
  • Feeding tube 
  • Malnutrition

Insurance and Referrals

To receive nutrition education at McPherson Center for Health, you’ll need a referral from your doctor, and possibly from your insurance plan. Many insurance policies cover dietitian visits, so check with your provider. Our Patient Financial Services can assist in verifying coverage and arranging payments if needed.
