Visiting a patient at McPherson Hospital
- Visitors may be asked to leave the room at the nurses’ discretion when treatments and care are given
- Visiting hours are unlimited daily with the exception of those patients located in the Intensive Care Unit or the OB Department
- Special visiting hours are maintained on these units
- For the patient’s welfare, the hospital requests that the patient receive only two visitors at a time
- We encourage family visits; however, children should be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Children under 6 year of age are not allowed in patient rooms according to the Kansas Department of Health.
- All visitors are responsible for conducting themselves in a polite and courteous manner. Any visitors who exhibit threatening behavior, or use abusive or profane language will be asked to leave the facility.
- Please check with the nurse before bringing food to patients.
