One of the simplest ways to improve your health is to stay physically active. The American Heart Association recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity each week, which breaks down to just 30 minutes a day, five days a week.
Activities like brisk walking, water aerobics, gardening, biking, tennis, pickleball, or even dancing all count. Regular physical activity can support healthy weight loss, strengthen your heart, and improve your long-term cardiovascular health.
Take a walk after dinner, grab a friend for a game of pickleball, or turn up your favorite music and dance. Those 30 minutes each day can make a big difference in helping you live a longer, healthier, and happier life.
