McPherson Center for Health Launches New Electronic Health Record and Patient Portal

McPherson Center for Health has successfully transitioned to its new electronic health record system, MEDITECH Expanse, bringing a more connected and convenient healthcare experience to patients throughout the community.

This investment enhances the way care is delivered by improving communication between care teams, streamlining access to health information, and providing patients with new tools to manage their healthcare online.

“We are excited to bring this technology to our community,” said Tanner Wealand, President & CEO for McPherson Center for Health. “This upgrade strengthens the patient experience while helping us continue to provide high-quality healthcare close to home.”

McPherson Center for Health is grateful to the McPherson Healthcare Foundation and the generous community donors whose support helped make this investment possible.

New Patient Portal

The new patient portal gives patients convenient access to their health information, including test results, appointment information, prescription refill requests, secure messaging with their care team, and more.

Patients can access the portal through the Patient Portal page on the McPherson Center for Health website or by downloading the MHealth app on their mobile device.

At this time, patients with a scheduled appointment will receive a welcome email containing a secure link to register for the new portal. Self-enrollment will become available in late summer or early fall, allowing patients to create an account without waiting for an invitation email.

Accessing Previous Medical Records

MyCareCorner is no longer used for ongoing patient access. Medical records for services received prior to July 1, 2026, remain available through a medical records request. Patients needing assistance with medical record requests may call 620-241-2251, ext. 475.

We’re Here to Help

McPherson Center for Health is committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. Staff members are available to assist patients with portal registration, login, and navigation.

“While the technology has changed, our commitment to caring for our patients remains the same,” said Charity Clark, Chief Operating Officer at McPherson Center for Health. “Our team is here to help patients every step of the way. We appreciate our patients’ patience and understanding throughout this transition, and we’re excited to offer technology that will help us better serve our community for years to come.”
