McPherson, KS (August 8, 2025) McPherson Center for Health has been awarded a 5-star rating by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), placing it among the top-performing hospitals in the nation for quality of care and the only facility within a 60-mile radius to hold this national recognition.
This recognition reflects excellence across five key areas of performance: mortality, safety, readmission, patient experience, and timely and effective care, all of which are evaluated through rigorous national standards.
For a rural hospital like McPherson’s, a 5-star rating represents more than just numbers. It speaks to the value of having high-quality care right here at home, without the burden of travel or long wait times. - Welcoming new providers to our clinic to improve access and continuity of care
- Strengthening partnerships with local organizations to support health and wellness throughout the community
- Our Women’s Care and Birth Center holds the gold standard for Kansas Perinatal Quality Collaborative
