McPherson, KS — McPherson Center for Health is proud to recognize two outstanding team members, Kelsi Hilger, Paramedic and Lieutenant with McPherson EMS, and Colton Arnold, Certified Surgical Technician (CST), on their recent graduation from Leadership McPherson, a leadership development program hosted by the McPherson Chamber of Commerce.
McPherson Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership McPherson is designed to develop and connect emerging leaders by providing in-depth exposure to local industries, civic organizations, and leadership principles. Graduates of the program are equipped with the knowledge and relationships needed to make a meaningful impact within the McPherson community. This powerful program is a major priority of the Chamber and vital to the future leadership of our community.
Kelsi Hilger serves as a Paramedic and Lieutenant with McPherson EMS and has been with the organization for five years. In addition to providing emergency medical care, she oversees the department’s Field Training and Evaluation Program, helping mentor and prepare new EMS team members. She is also involved with the department’s Public Relations Committee, supporting community outreach and engagement efforts. Her dedication to clinical excellence, leadership, and team development has made a meaningful impact within the service.
Colton Arnold joined McPherson Center for Health in 2024 as a traveling surgical technician and quickly felt called to make McPherson home for his family. Originally from Little River, Colton chose to permanently join the organization and relocate with his wife and three children. Since beginning his surgical career in 2018, he has become a respected leader and mentor within the operating room, earned the hospital’s 5-Star Caregiver Award, and advanced to a Level 1 CST during his time at McPherson Center for Health.
McPherson Center for Health is also proud to have additional representation within the Leadership McPherson program through Tammy Field, Radiology Director and a 2025 Leadership McPherson graduate, who currently serves on the McPherson Chamber’s Leadership Advisory Committee and as a class facilitator for the program.
“Kelsi and Colton both represent the heart of what makes our organization strong,” said Charity Clark, Chief Operating Officer. “Their leadership, compassion, and commitment to serving others continue to positively impact both our teams and the community.”
McPherson Center for Health is honored to support team members who invest in leadership development and community engagement, furthering the organization’s mission to provide exceptional care and service
