McPherson Center for Health is pleased to announce the addition of a former Kansan to its family medicine clinics. Dustie Samuels, DO, will join McPherson Medical and Surgical Associates physician clinics this summer.

Dr. Samuels graduated from Council Grove High School and received health education in emergency medicine from various Kansas community colleges before graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Kansas State University. She received her degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University, DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. She conducted her residency at the Wichita Center for Graduate Medical Education in Wichita, KS.

She comes to McPherson most recently from Essentia Health in Pierz, Minnesota where she was engaged in outpatient family practice clinical and immediate care services. Prior to that, she served at various Kansas facilities including the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita, Via Christi Immediate Care in Wichita, and Acute Care, Inc. in Winfield. While completing her education, she served as a paramedic in Kansas and Tennessee and was a health educator and trainer while attending Osteopathic school.

Dr. Samuels is a family medicine board certified physician currently licensed in Minnesota and is an instructor and provider in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support and Pediatric Life Support. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
